Nina Harth is a doctoral researcher within the FWO-SBO PIP project (Peer Support Innovating Prisons), which explores how peer support in prisons can contribute to reintegration and desistance of crime. Within this project, she focuses on needs related to serious illness, dying, and bereavement in prison contexts. Nina obtained her master's degree in Nursing and Midwifery in 2025. During her master's program, she worked for three years as a researcher at the SUPRB-research center (HOGENT), focusing on substance use among vulnerable groups, including young people and people in detention.
